We are raising money to build out our farm infrastructure. We have access to secure land and are planning a community seed cleaning and storage facility, an added-value kitchen, event and gathering space, as well as offices, storage, meeting space and more! We’re so excited to finally have a home, and we’d love to have some community support to build it.
The Wanda & Jim Moran Foundation has generously offered a $50k matching donation. Until Dec 31st 2025, every dollar donated will be matched up to $50k. Double your impact and donate today!
Our mission is to cultivate, research, and celebrate resiliency in food and farming via crop diversity. Through innovative practices, education, and collaboration, we aim to build a thriving culture of seed sovereignty and agrobiodiversity.

OUR MISSION
Join the movement for
regional agrobiodiversity.
At Utopian Seed Project, we believe in the power of diversity. By cultivating a wide range of crops, we support resilient and sustainable foodways that benefit everyone. Our focus on seed exploration, trials, selection, breeding, and adaptation work ensures that we are prepared for the future while honoring the past. Join us in our mission to promote regional agrobiodiversity and create lasting change in our communities.
Supporting diversity in food
and farming.
We’re inspired by a better, more equitable future where everyone has access to fresh, locally grown food from gardens and farms rich with biodiversity. Through education, community support, and regionally adapted crops, we're building that future—one seed at a time.
